10Wary Black Backed Jackal At over a 100 meters distant a young Black Backed Jackal looks warily in my general direction. I waited in the hide for 3 hours before he slunk in from behind the crags where he was hidden to the zebra carcass. All I got was one look and the shutter click spooked him off never to return that day.
11Light Snack Sitting outside listening to the birds and the river I noticed at least 4 lizards scampering around. On moving closer I saw them catching insects that were falling out the tree canopy.
