It is no secret that, even though I have been intrigued by photography since childhood, I am the polar opposite of a professional.
Photography to me is magic. Stealing a moment and capturing it on film is like, hmm, like when you tattoo a favourite memory on the sleeve of your heart.
It is magic. I never ever view any picure or photo as a static image. I always feel as though I am holding a moment in time in my hands. Maybe it’s just me .. maybe it is my tendency to be over-emotional in my analysis of something relatively simple.
But capturing emotion, atmosphere or specific detail, when your fingers wander over the photo and you imagine feeling the texture or sensing the emotion within those four walls .. magic I tell ‘ya!
Mooi gemaak Harvey!

You need to pick up a camera! You’re extremely gifted in writing and you have an eye for the sublime and dramatic.
