My studio is available for Portrait, Portfolio and Product Shoots.

The studio can be hired for 1 hour for a family or single portrait shoot or minimum 2 hours for a basic portfolio shoot, both including photographer.

Generally, for Portrait and Portfolio you can expect 20-30 images per hour of which you may choose a maximum of 15 images from the shoot. These can be viewed, as is, taken from the camera, after the shoot on a large LCD screen. No Post Processing is provided on-site. If you wish your images to be Post Processed i.e. converted to B&W, effects added etc, please discuss this at the time of booking the shoot and we will then upload the final PP high quality images to our website, and provide you with a password to access and download them (only if our shoot and Post Processing fee has been settled), within 2-4 weeks of the shoot.

If you are seeking a portfolio shoot, only one theme can be taken in a two hour session. Please choose your own theme, that captures something essential about you, in a style that feels natural and spontaneous. Arrive with your own change of clothing and props, such as jewellery, hats, shoes, sunglasses etc. There is a change area and you can do your make-up there as well. Please make sure that you arrive at least 30 minutes before the shoot to get yourself ready. We do not provide a make-up artist on site but can arrange one for you, rate negotiable.

Product shoots are on a product by product basis and we will negotiate a fee with you on the basis of your idea and product. In the event of power failures, we have a diesel generator as backup so that the shoot can continue.

We request that our fee be paid and our contract be signed and faxed prior to starting the shoot.

High Quality prints, canvas (Swiss material only), coffee table books, calendars and other printed materials may also be chosen and these are ready for collection normally within 2-4 weeks of the shoot after payment has been received.

We do not accept credit cards or debit cards via a POS point. Cash or EFT only. You can EFT via our internet access, and if ordering additional prints, images or products and funds must clear our account before we begin work.

Booking and Policy:

We require the full amount, based on the hours booked, payable up front and at least 4 weeks prior to your session date and time. We cannot provide refunds, no matter what the circumstances as we have booked out the studio for you and thus cannot fill it in such a short space of time. You can sell your booking to another person, family etc or gift it to someone else if you wish.

If we are doing a personal shoot and you feel more comfortable having someone you know alongside, you are welcome to bring along your partner, family member, however we insist the he/she not become our artistic adviser during the shoot and remain in the rear of the room.

All the images remain the copyright of the photographer, as is internationally accepted, and may only be used for your personal printed portfolio. We may however use the image(s) in our online portfolio’s, blog(s), website(s), for print and advertising or any other media we see fit. We will of course inform you of our wish to do so and where.

If you wish to use the images for any form of print or electronic media, such as but not limited to TV, Magazine, Internet, a license fee can be negotiated with the studio.
